Well; Just to give you My feedback on this

Great job in making a shopping Cart for AlertPay; I wouldn't pay over $30 for a script to deliver Downloadable Goods after a sale; and probably wouldn't pay more than $50 for a Shopping cart; but that's just me.

I am still Hoping more Open Source Coders who have experience with Payment Gateways would go to work to put together some scripts to Help the Community of people who Do use AlertPay as a processor could begin to truly Flourish as the way I see it -- we are all IN it together.

The better the Scripts "available" for people to use are; the more likely MORE Site Owners will Look to AlertPay as a viable Option to use; which makes the company Stronger; and gives us All even More Tools to use to grow our businesses online.

Good luck to you with this new product!!

Hopefully you'll consider some lower priced Scripts that will benefit those of us on Smaller Budgets (which is a pretty large number of site owners)

Multiple items in subscription payment

Is it possible to setup multiple items in the subscription payment?

example:

item 1: amount $29 subscription yearly

item 2: amount $5 subscription monthly

item 3: amount $10 subscription each 6 months

etc

No POST vars coming to Alert URL

Hi,

I am tryign to overcome a security vulnerability in OsCommerce. We have various processors enabled including Alertpay (using a contribution to OsCommerce made by somebody else - fairly old and straightforward), and are having to address the vulnerability on a case by case basis for each processor.

This has worked fine for other processors, but there seems to be no POST variables getting sent back to the AlertURL from the payment process.

This is the basic code for the form process in the OsCommerce contribution:

Note that this doesnt get presented to the user as a normal, simple payment button as such. It is integrated into the shopping cart system.

returnurl is set to a standard URL for all payments. And we have theAlertURL on the account set to the same.

The process works, and the user is directed to the returnURL/AlertURL correctly. But I have added code to that page to harvest all POST/GET variables etc and send them to me in an email, and for AlertPay, no POST or GET vars are found at all.

I tried turning off IPNin case it is a conflict between AlertURL and return URL being the same page - made no difference.

Can anyone advise pelase? Thanks.

Are multiple items possible?

Hello, I have created a cart written in VB ASP.NET. I've been through the pdf and vb code.

My question is when the user has multiple item types in the cart can I pass all of the values to AlertPay at once.

For example. The user has opted to buy 1 fig at $1.00, 3 apples at $1.50, 4 oranges at $2.00. Can I send all of those values to AlertPay and have them pay once or do I need to tally up the entire order and call it (example) orderid12345 and send AlertPay the totaled order (orderid12345) as one item?

Is MultiPay Available?

I'm looking for a secure, online payment feature for my e-commerce website. Ultimately, I need an application in which the buyer is capable of making two payments - to two separate parties, in one transaction. So A (buyer) pays B (my company) and C (vendor) in one check out process. PayPal does not currently offer this function. Can the AlertPay handle this feature? If not, does anyone know of any online payment options that might?

I will apologize now, my coding knowledge is a lil slow at times; I'd like to do something like this as well - but I'm so unclear on "HOW" to do it.

I would like to sell .zip files - containing photos, files, whatever - so far I'm really liking AlertPay and am contacting people that I know to see what can be done to help improve things; anything I can do to help take down payPal lol - but seriously like most things it comes out of a selfish desire to improve how things go on my end; But I was also wondering if there was some kind of Shopping Cart feature that would allow people to Add an "item" and continue shopping - and then once they've added multiple items, it'll calculate everything, verify the puchase, and then email the links to the buyer.

But I have no clue what I'm Doing.

I've uploaded the alertpay ipn .php script to my site, as is - but I'm wondering if I was supposed to add something to it first.

I think I've already said that in another forum so I won't repeat that again; but if someone could explain if the Shopping Cart feature works, or if I need to add something to the IPN Script, and if they can do it in (simple english) that would be great!
