Hello there!

I noticed a lot of scripts just like the one I am using for the AlertPay Income System here. The problem with ALL of them is this:

The payment button shows the URL where the program takes over after the AlertPay transaction has been made WITHOUT even checking first if the correct amount of $8.00 or anything at all was paid to the affiliate and then $6.00 to the admin ...

ap_returnurl -> http://www.buz.net/return.php

Since there are two transactions, there are two payment buttons and both have the same problem of not doing any checking.

What kind of code should be added to these PHP files so they could do some basic checking and stop these people from trying to get things for free or for next to nothing?

Removing them after the fact is just a pain in the neck.

Hello,

I read your IPN PDF Guide, which didn't answer my questions.
I would like to have a IPN website thing, from which people can pay $$ diffrently,

I am the administrator of the program, so suppose you come under me, you would pass me your 2nd 4th 8th 16th 32nd [keep multiplying by 2] sale FOREVER. each sale is 90$ [ 30$ fixed admin fee and 60$ program joining fee]

so like this u keep paying me and same goes on with any other people i make... and then this chain goes for people that you make and people they make and on and on!

Could someone help me code it and make a IPN for me

I'm referring to the part you cron tab your masspay probably xml/txt file <^^> Or you cron query mysql too ?

Mine is php / myslq / curl based runs at presistent connection to AlertPay with buffer of payments pending and time until next payment. If you set buffer to 1 and pending payments to 0 the result is in-time payments :) You can use it as ordinary payment method also. And combine 2 sessions :D

Just an advice ... By the way php/curl/mysql is safer than pure curl. Pure curl needs direct access to a file that is chmod to 777. Guess what will happens when i find that file ;)

Anyway good job! If anyone needs help setting up curl/php/mysql let me know. And NO ... I am NOT selling my class, but I will help you with your own.

I have blocked out those ones and i take only the ones i need :)

I've had another thing ... when i was at the final step to do the payment, I was getting an error from AlertPay that they have some problem. It took me almost half a day to figure it out that it was one of the hidden fields value that hadn't been transferfed from step to step.

I've had some problems transfering the __VIEWSTATE from one step to another, but I have figured it out successfuly AND managed to do my first payment trough curl + php ... i will be integrating that one into my web very soon... still doing some testing.

These are some great breakthrough's I think -- but I'm going to have to take a look at all this a little later -- however all of this is good.

As it stands right now you two may be the only Developers working out the kinks, to get a very good, working IPN script that can meet the needs of many people using this processor.

I wanted to say, Beaster and Dejangex, that the earlier Code provided for selling items "on the fly" - w/out having to create each item In the alertpay business account manager, Works just fine -- I've actually plugged it in on a page and am now tying in amounts and information and it's all working perfectly.

However the Other issue I had -- is still the same; which, is kind of odd I must say -- since it works on one page but not the other.

Hope I didn't confuse you; but the problem may just be IN the form; I'll take a look at that today too; and don't worry man I know you're going to get to it when you can; I design sites too, run sites, so things tend to get busy; I just am more of a designer than a coder and you two fellas know more about coding than I.

I do beleive however, like the other guy mentioned, whats sent to alertpay, is the fee, BEFORE their fee's are applied.

So if your item is $20 - what they pay is $20, and then You get $18, after alertpay takes their fee's.

At least that's how it's working on my page... 8.99 converts to 8.99 on the payout page -- so, that's my assumption and belief.

I would agree with Beaster on that point.

I've been shopping around looking for a good programmer who can re-create a script for me to use with AlertPay, that is like a script I used with PayPal.

It's an awesome script really - you put in your products, item numbers, pricing, location of the file on your server, and how long you want the product available for, to the buyer of that product - 2 hours, 5 hours, days, weeks, whatever - and once they purchase the product (digital product, .zip files, photos, whatever u are selling) - The script creates a link, emails it to the customer, and encrypts the Location of the file, and the link expires after the set amount of time.

What's great about this script too, is there is a Manual Orders section, so in case there is a problem you can always re-send another Encrypted link to a customer(s) ensuring that they get their purchase - or if you just want to be generous you can send stuff to potential customers, or send links to your self to test them out and make sure that they are working.

So far, no luck - most programmers i've talked to have not heard of AlertPay and don't seem to know what they are doing. So it would be great if you guys could indeed find a way to attract more Programmers to the site - some people interested in Open Source Projects - try posting some ads on craigslist, myspace, and the like to bring people to this site who may be able to pitch in.

What makes paypal so great, is there are so many scripts written to work WITH it... AlertPay needs to give it's users that same option; allowing them to sell their content in multiple ways, using your company as it's processor, is only gonna be a good thing for you!

ap_returnurl $_POST vars are empty

This is my ap_returnurl PHP file:

... text.txt (chmod 777) is empty, and print_r shows nothing but "Array()",
ap_returnurl address is not an alias, it is real web address.

Why $_POST is empty?

IPN Parse error

I am currently trying to intergrate de IPN script into an automated invoice systeme and i am currently having a PHP error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=', expecting ',' or ';' in /home/blesmpm/public_html/alert_url.php on line 187

Could that be a PHP version problem? I run PHP 4

IPN + My ALERT URL = :(

I've tried everything, is not a alias, my Alert URL.

I created an example of subscription and pasted the code in a new html. Something arrives at the Alert URL, but none variable. I have checked the encrypted password over and over again, but nothing.

I downloaded the example, and in the first line I have checked all executable POST with a foreach, and recorded in the database. Then he put a exit.

But I do not receive any POST.

It is imperative to have verified my business account, to receive the $ _POST through the IPN, in test mode?

What am I doing wrong?
