    Hi,

This is primarily the case for new merchants.  Once we establish history, then it's business and usual.  This process is there for protect the members and give them more security, and thus giving merchants more orders.

Sincerely appreciate your way of working, but AP needs to understand that New Merchant needs cash in hand to ship. out the product.

Lets presume a customer paid 100$.

    Product Cost price is 50$ plus ship,ment cots of 10$ = 60$.

So, u need 60$ when you are selling soemthing online and NOt sure whether you get that 100$ or not as customer may say that he didnt like the product.

    Seller's get any proteciton ???

Excellent point, and I understand what you are saying. We are developing a Seller and Buyer protection policy at this time.

The vast majority of merchants have no issue with this rule, as most other places have settlement delays in the weeks when it comes to payments by credit card.  There is risk on both sides, merchant and buyer, and AlertPay in the middle is trying to address the risk as well.  There is always startup costs with any business, and presumably, you should already have the product purchased prior to shipping therefore only incurring the shipping cost as an additional cost.

As your history with us grows, you will be provided better and more favorable terms.
