Can you please PM me with examples of members who have experienced problems with their credit card transactions. This would help us to locate and quickly resolve this issue.

Re: Credit Card Processing

I cannot use mastercard at all. running a test, the first card number is a 5 and it strips it off, then tells me it ins unable to identify card type. If I use any other number as a test, it keeps going back to the error message. Does not even give an easy option for the customer to set up an account and fund it in other ways. Not sure about other CC's because I only have MC's to test with, but even if VISA or others work, this will reject over half our customers!

This is definately a problem as we were getting ready to do a big launch with alertpay as our main processor. This has to be fixed before we can use alertpay or launch out site.

Credit Card Processing

Besides MasterCard which AlertPay says they are working on, I
still notice problems with credit card processing with both Visa and American
Express. Customers call me every week and tell me their credit cards are getting
declined when they have a good card. I am able to easily put the same credit cards through Yahoo Search Marking for my advertising without any problems. Then there
are days like this past Saturday where I do not see any Credit Card processing
at all.

Has any of you seen this happen to your credit card processing?
If so did AlertPay solve this problem for you? This is making me think that I
could be losing sales because not everyone will call to tell me that they were
having a problem with their valid credit card being declined.
