Restricted industries incur a higher fee structure due to the riskier nature of these industries. Generally there are a greater number of transaction disputes and chargebacks related to these industry types.

34.0 Restricted Account Types/Industries

Accounts/Industries that fall under the Restricted category must be verified account holders and incur fees associated with a Restricted account type. The fee structure can be viewed here: https://www.alertpay.com/info/Fees.aspx

Restricted

DVDs
Telephone Service, Long Distance, VoIP or PC-to-Phone Service, SMS
Plants, Seeds, and/or other horticultural products
Seminars, Event Tickets
Food - perishable, non-prepackaged foods
Police and other Government Identification and Equipment
Body modification (penis/*** enlargement) Products
Tobacco Products, Smoking Mixtures or Tobacco Substitutes
Mature Toys, Novelties, paraphernalia, etc.
Drug Paraphernalia
multi-level marketing (MLM) and pyramid selling services, matrix programs, or online income opportunity programs
Pay-to-click, pay-to-read and any other related industries
