IPN for repeat payments on subscriptions

Does anyone know if it is possible to get notification mails from the repeat payments on a subscription?  The purpose I have in mind is that the setting up of a monthly membership fee can be integrated into my client's site so that the initial payment commences the membership, but I would like to also arrange for the repeat payments to send data to a URL where PHP could extend the member's subscription period.  This seems like a feature that could be widely useful, but I don't see any way to do it currently.

    Thanks

I have the IPN script but, I really don't understand it.

It looks as if I am supposed to 'fill in the blanks' so to speak.

I like AlertPay So far - I came here due to the fact that I run a few "adult websites" and needed an alternative to PayPal - Of course I heard about you guys from the CNN article - and from all the alternatives this seemed like the best.

Let me get right to my question ....

    Or questions ...

What exactly am I supposed to do with this IPN Script?

And do I need to change the script in some way, or Add some code to the script in order for it to Deliver Digital goods to a buyer's email?

I used to use a script with PayPal - called LinkLokIPN - I actually contacted the guy who wrote the script to see if he'd like to write a version to work With PayPal - something he could offer to customers of AlertPay to do the same things LinkLok does. It's a really great IPN Script; Perhaps your coders may wanna take a look at it to see if things can work the same way.

What the script would do is, check to make sure the payment went through, and when it did it would Send the File or Files purchased, to the buyer's email - The link they would recieve would be encrypted, and it would expire after a set amount of time (1 day, 3 days, whatever...)

So I need a straight answer on this - is this a feature I would have to write manually - or is there a version available that does this already??

I'm not a coder - so if anyone thinks they can do this, let me know.

If you're a Coder and you'd like to help me out with this, let me know.
