someone hacked my alertpay payprocessor button, changed the amount to $0.01 from $10

How can i stop that from happening? I just updated my ALERTPAY account and completed the IPN, would that help? Whose liable for this?, the scripts where taken from AlertPay Generate a "Buy Now" Button  and somebody hacked it. I cant anymore go after the hacker and pay me $10 well $9.99

AlertPay email reply is 3-6 days, my email tickets with them are piling up... business cant wait for 3 days!

There is 2 ways you can prevent this

    1) Validate the amount being sent to you from AlertPay against the item amount you have saved in your application.  This will require a bit of business logic processing in your IPN script.  If in your application the item in question is $10.00, compare the item amount against that amount.

    2) Use our Create an Item option in your Sell Online section where an encrypted link is created for you which will not allow anyone to tamper with your form post code.
