As far I know they only charge $4 for issuing check.
But your bank or third party may charge you to process this check.
I think the best would be to contact your local bank. Seek help from alertpay too.
I think you can find many services where you can pay with alertpay. However I think purcasing alertpay domains and alerpay hosting is so far the most useful purchases I've ever made with alertpay and I had no problems to date. I don't see a reason for anyone not to purchase such services using alertpay as it is one of the most popular online payment methods out there.
