    Phone Validation Problems

    Customers tell me it is hard enough for them to use their credit cards with AlertPay, now customers have to go through a validation code by phone that they must enter at checkout to complete their purchase?!

    This has its use but I would like to opt out of this because if a customer is using for example an office phone with an extension or there is a delay in getting the code the order process may time out or it may be to much trouble for the customer. Some customers may only have one phone line and can not do this if they are on a dial up connection. Not everyone has a Cell phone or DSL.

    I would rather pay 1/2% more as before without this phone validation

    Same problem here.

    My customer never recieved any call.

    I lost my 2 sales due to this.

    One customer verified over phone but I never got any intimation about the payment ...

    God knows how things will work now..

    Also, request to AP to upload screenshots and step on how phone validation will work..  Though WOULD LOVE TO OPT-OUT of this Phone validation for my customers.

    Its BETTER to pay more than loosing.

    Phone verification was successful in case of ONE OF MY CUSTOMER as he says he got message as SUCCESSFUL but he didn't get any Transaction id.

    AP asking me ask that custoemr to resubmit the order again.

    Customer will get irriated and will never buy things from AP or from us , which is a shame for us.

    Can you PM me the customer email.  We'll look into it. So far, we've had over 97% get phone validated successfully.

    I forgot to mention we will also have merchant opt out feature coming out shortly as well.

    Any tentative date as we are loosing sales , which we hardly get daily :-(

    My sales have been way off since the Phone Validation has been put in place. I think Phone Validation should be removed for now until the bugs are worked out so we all do not go broke. It never should have put in place during the Weekends when customers can not call AlertPay to report problems with it. I for one will want to Opt out of it as soon as possible.
