Hi,

IPN post to alert url posts various data, but I would like to know it is a credit card payment or payment from their alertpay account. Anyway to know?

It's been a while since i used alertpay but try out $_POST[ap_purchasetype]

I haven't tried it, but the integration guide states that it returns the following:

item OR
service OR
item-goods OR
item-auction

If this is not possible, it there a way to seperate credit card and normal payment? like if user  clicks credit card button they will be taken to creditcard payment page and if clicked on say.. "Pay with Alertpay" buton - they will be taken to alertpay pyment page (no credit card).

Am I going to get any help from an AP staff?

We currently do not have an IPN variable which informs you whether a payment was made by a credit card or by an account's funds. We will consider introducing this variable.

Has for your second quesiton, I am not quite sure what you are referring to when you mention "click credit card button" as we only have our Buy Now button which allows the user to choose between using a credit card or the funds in their account to complete a purchase when they reach our Pay Process page.
