1. I am from Vietnam and I have an account in TechComBank. I want to add the bank account to my AlertPay but I dont know what I should fill these fields:
- Bank Code: (Which code? Telex or SWIFT or REUTERS? My bank does not have any other international code)
- Branch Code: my bank does not have a branch code
- SWIFT BIC: Is this SWIFT code I mentioned above?
- Bank name: my full bank name is "Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint- stock Bank - Techcombank" but it's auto cut off to "Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint- stock ". Can I enter "Vietnam Technological and Commercial Bank" only?
- Bank phone number: Do I have to start with 84 (my country code)?
- Bank contact name: is it "TechComBank" or a specific person name? Because there are many agents at the same phone line to support customers, I dont know which name should be filled here (indeed, I dont know any staff's name).
2. Is bank-wire really available for banks in Vietnam? I dont want to request withdraw and get "declined" message because of unsupported bank/method. If yes, how long does it often take?
3. I see the fee for check is just $0.50. Can I receive check and save $14.50 (because bank wire fee is $15.00). How long will check arrive my address? How long will a check be valid to? I dont know why but in Vietnam, a mailing package often get around 45-60 days to reach my address and I dont know how long will it take to turn check into cash. I am afraid that the check will be expired before I can get cash in my hand or my bank account....
