Encrypted key or security code? - IPN

     Hey guys,

when you setup your IPN, you put like something totally random in the security code, and put your url.
Then you have to put a key in your script, is it the encrypted key or the unencrypted key you've put in the security code box?

     Thank you,

    - Shadows.

     late but...

Your security code provides a way of authenticating that the data was sent by AlertPay.  You create your security code and it is immediately encrypted so only you know the code you entered.  Your security code will not change unless you enter a new code to be encrypted. You can make this change at any time, by going to IPN Setup.

This encrypted security code will be sent by AlertPay with all posts to your Alert URL.  You may then compare the code sent with the one in your account to be sure that AlertPay did post the information captured.
